Society Will Host the Region 3 Summer Meeting
Norfolk Virginia
A Decade of
Daylilies
June 25 - 27, 2010
The Tidewater Daylily Society
of Hampton Roads is excited to be the host of the 2010 Summer Regional
Meeting in Norfolk, VA. The area boasts many exciting attractions with
beaches and the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. We will tour the beautiful
gardens of Rich and Rikki Sterrett and Buck Fox on the Eastern Shore. We
will enjoy a wonderful lunch at the Eastville Inn before heading over to
Virginia Beach to see what Gretchen Fisher and Yvonne Leonard have on
display in their gardens. Yvonne is also hosting the Dan Tau Seedling Bed
and it pomises to be fantastic.
The event will be
held at the Norfolk Airport Hilton which is central to all the activities,
tour gardens and open gardens. Additionally, we will be holding a
progressive daylily raffle for early registrants; so the sooner you
register the sooner you will be entered into our drawing for some great
collections of daylilies. The first drawing will be for a collection of
"cupcake" daylilies.

We will have silent and live auctions and the
speaker for the event is Tim Herrington who promises to be very
informative and entertaining as he speaks about his collections and his
hybridizing techniques and goals. Finally, we will also hold judges
clinics. Anyone wishing to participate should sign up at the time of
registration.

in the next FANFARE.
